በመላው አለም የተከሰተው የኮሮና ቫይረስ (COVID-19) በአገራችንም በመከሰቱ ይህንኑ ቫይረስ ለመከላከል መንግስታችን ባደረገልን ጥሪ መሠረት ኩባንያችን (ማራቶን ሞተር) በዛሬው እለት መጋቢት 18, 2012 ዓ.ም. በአገር አቀፍ ደረጃ በተቋቋመው የእርዳታ ማሰባሰብ ላይ የግማሽ ሚሊየን ብር (500,000.00) ድጋፍ አድርጓል፡፡
ይህ ድጋፍ በተለይ አብዛኛው የህብረተሰባችን ክፍል የእለት ጉርሱን መሸፈን የማይችል መሆኑን በመገንዘብ ለዚሁ ህብረተሰብ ይደርስ ዘንድ በብሄራዊ እርዳታ ማስተባበሪያ በኩል ለግሷል፡፡
ዋናው ነገር በዚህ በደበዘዘ ግን ባልጨለመ ጊዜ መተሳሰብ እና ያለንን ማካፈል ኩባንያችን ተገቢ ነው ብሎ ያምናል፡፡ መላው ህብረተሰብ በመንግስታችን በኩል የሚሰጡንን የጥንቃቄ ምክሮችን መሚገባ በመተግበር፣ ጸሎት በማድረግ ፈጣሪ አምላካችንን እያመሰገንን ይህንን የደበዘዘ ጊዜ ፈጣሪ የባረካት አገር እንደመሆኗ እንሻገራለን፡፡

Following the call of our Government, our company (Marathon Motor Engineering) has donated today (on 27th March 2020) half million Birr (Birr 500,000.00) to support protect the COVID -19.
This support especially goes to our community members who really a need of help and can not cover their daily bread.
In this specific dark time, (May be a time of Great Depression), I do believe ‘’ Nature taught us’’, We, Marathon Motor, do belive that it is time to share what we have and stand together as a nation.
The only weapon we have at hand to defeat ‘’ COVID -19’’is ‘’PRAYING’’ and strictly respecting the instruction given by our Government to care and stay healthy. We are a nation (country) that God has blessed.
